Nero InfoTool Problem

I'm running the new Nero. I have a LG GCE-8520B with firmware 1.04. The problem i'm having is that Nero is detecting my drive as Read Speed 8X Write Sspeed 52x. Any ideas why this is ? When i burn it takes me 10mins to burn a cdr, my burner is 52x24x52 burning slow. I tried different apps same speed/time. Any ideas?

First of all, have you gone through all the DMA FAQ's?

I'm going to suggest that you go through the steps in the second of the above two links, even if you think you have DMA enabled properly, because it helped someone else who was having trouble with your drive.

actually, yes i have. i've enabled DMA in device manager.

What media are you using? Does it happen with just one brand?

Sony CD-R 1x32x i know it will only burn max 32 probably. But why is it showing 8x why not 32x ?

Hard to say. But before knocking yourself out trying to figure out what may be a problem that is limited to just this media, it would be worthwhile to test some other media. As always, Taiyo Yuden (e.g. Fuji) is highly recommended.
