You can erase any CD-RW with any program and reuse it with any program.
If you erase the CD-RW, you will have to reformat it to use it for packet writing with DirectCD.
If you simply "delete" the files on the CD-RW in Explorer, you can free all of the available capacity and reuse the disc in DirectCD without having to erase and reformat it.
