Are Fuji's CD-R's considered good quality?

Are the compatible to most CD writers?
Do they last for respectable times?

Fuji CD-R's are the best without a doubt.

When burned on my TDK 48x
C1 errors are suually between 5 and 7
C2 errors are nonexistant
When burned at 52x
C1 errors are between 7 and 9
C2 errors are also nonexistant

Fuji's should be compatible with all CD burners. I would check out the media compatibility thread to see how well they work for your burner. If taken care of properly, Fuji CD's should last for a long time, as with any decent quality CD.

Seriously, Fuji branded CD-Rs made by Taiyo Yuden are certainly among the best if not the best CD-Rs out there. Taiyo Yuden made the very first CD-Rs when the technology and standards were being developed, and their experience shows.

So far we have Fuji & Memorex TY/japanese CDR media, here in TX/US.

Some of the bulk Fuji media in Europe seems to be made by Ritek.

I wasn't talking about Fuji's made by TY but made by Fuji Co. themselves.
When checking instantinfo.de i discovered that most (if not all) of Fuji's CDr's are made by Fuji's own factory.
And yes, i've been aware of the extremely high kudos praises people have been exhibiting towards TY Cdr's.

Ah! That makes more sense. My misunderstanding. I am so used to all the Fuji here being made by TY that I equate Fuji with TY. But with so many different manufacturers being sold under one brand, I guess we should explicitly state Fuji branded discs made by xxx.

So, what about dodecahedron's question? Have you found Fuji branded discs (made by anyone) for sale in Israel?

Well, my findings suggest that there aren't any Fuji's sold on any virtual store in Israel.
Though, i clearly remember walking in some Office Depot store (You have Office Depot in the US, don't you?) when suddenly stopped to watch some sort of commotion near the Cdr/w media department.
Everyone were equipping themselves with Fuji cdrs..
I didn't know why they were all excited then but after the riot was scattered i noticed a small sign indicating that on this particular rack Fuji's cdrs were once sold..

Maybe i immoderated a bit here.. Even though the Fuji cdrs were stolen like "Hot buns".

Thanks cfitz for posting up the pics. I don't have any web space to host any pics, but cfitz's pics clearly show what my Fuji disc look like when I run CD Doctor on them. All my Fuji's are made by TY. I think that's the only kind they sell here in the US.
