Anyone seen this message from DirectCD?

Postby Scrondar on Thu Mar 06, 2003 11:47 am

After applying the latest update for EZ CD Creator so it would recognize my new LG 8520, Direct CD does not load automatically (in the WinXP tray) and when I try to open it, I get the following error message in a box titled "Entry Point Not Found":

"The procedure entry point Cdudg_IsMediaBlank could not be located in the dynamic link library CDUDFLIB.DLL"

That DLL is in the EZ CD Creator folder, so I'm not sure what to do about this. Any help is much appreciated.

Wrong forum. DirectCD is not made by Ahead. This should be in the Adapted/Roxio forum.

No problem. 8) Ian will probably end up deleting this thread.

If not deleted, maybe this thread will be moved to the Roxio forum.

In any event, this error is probably caused by a corrupted installation. A clean uninstall/reinstall should fix it.

If you are using EZCD 5 but not WinXP, follow the instructions at Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum will not install properly.

If you are using it with WinXP, follow the instructions at How to cleanly uninstall / reinstall Easy CD Creator 5 in Windows XP.

When reinstalling, don't reboot when the original installation is made. Keep going and install the latest update before rebooting. Hopefully, this should fix the problem.
