I got in on the thing at copmpusa and picked up the hp 300i for a cool 200 bux.

One thing I havent been able to find anywhere though.

Do dvd recorders have buffer underrun protection like my lite burner??? :-?

oh yeh,. Ill just ask here instead of a new thread. Whats the easiest most reliable software to back up my dvds?

Yes, it uses some sort of buffer underrun protection when burning CD's. Lossless linkinig does the same thing when burning DVD's.

AVOID the 300i. it's a firmware upgrade to the 200i for 4x burning. I own a 200i and HATE it with a passion.

ps I work for compusa, we have a 75% return rate on the 300i... customers don't like it either.
