The Crucial memory seems like a good deal. It says, not available for delivery and not available for pick-up. It must be in-store only :(

It means its Sold Out.
If you wanted to take advantage of this deal, I would have suggested everyone go to their local Best Buy on Sunday morning.

Take another look

Postby CowboySlim on Mon Feb 17, 2003 1:48 am

at the Sony 50 pack. I think that it is 16X. I'll pass on it. But that other CompUSA deal, not the bundled one, the other 50 pack deal may be worth the trip. There's one at Warner & Bushard and I'm like Warner and Bolsa Chica.

Slim, your local Best Buy should have 40x or 48x Sony CD-R's. I checked my Best Buy today and all the media they had were atleast 40x or higher. The pics I use in my post are for representation only and don't show the actual products.

Has anyone been able to find a BUSlink 48x12x48 CD-RW Drive that was a Lite-On? I just got back from my Best Buy, but all they had were like 20 boxes that said JustLink on the outside box. I assume their Aopen drives, but I'm curious to see if anyone was able to find a Lite-On drive.

I think they got tired of giving away 48x24x48 drives so they changed vendors. All of the ones at my store are now Justlink drives, have been for at least a month. The 52 still appears to be LiteOns anyways.
