still having the problems, Cyberdrive 52x24x32

cyberdrive is giving me problems still. Buffer Recorder goes like crazy. Jumps from 97, 45, 24, and then it restarts.I have the new firmware for it. DEA is enabled. I have NO IDEA why it does this.

Msi KT4-Ultra
256mb ddr pc2100 crucial
20gb WD HD 5400 rpm
gf3 ti200 64mb video card
Acer 40x cdrom drive
Using Philips 48x blank cd's

I have tried with others cd's a few times like imation, it burns a 200mb disk good without it going crazy for the buffer recorder thingie. But anything higher or sometimes if its to small it dont work. The Point is that this drive reboots my system whenever i try to burn a cd. Please help...

To ensure it is not your system problem, you should test your drive at others system. Make sure you enabled the UDMA.

Too late, Ippnet. Neptun3s has a short fuse when it comes to Cyberdrives:

:o :-?

I suppose testing it in another system in its current state might make for some interesting results. :)
