What is the best performing CD-RW? Should not be expensive..

After having lots of trouble with my 48X MSI CD-RW, I sold it. Now I'm using my good old 12X LG. MSI used to create LOTS of coasters, even at low speeds.
The important things for me in a drive:
1) Reliable, won't speed up and down all the time and get stuck at a point and kill the CD, will recommend a reliable writing speed for each media
2) Silent
3) Cheap
Please don't recommend something like Plextor heheh I'm brokeass.

You have a 12X LG, stick with LG. Just as reliable as Lite-On (maybe more? ), equally as cheap, and more quiet than Lite-On.

I think you should stick with your LG. You should also check how you have your CDRW conected to your PC. Most of the time conecting the CDRW to the same IDE cable of your hard disc will produce this kind of problems. Also if your HD has a low transfer rate it may cause you some problems. Check these things before buying a brand new CDRW so that you don't have the same problems that you did with the MSI.

Lite-On does everything you've listed except for the quiet part. However, if you have a case with a bunch of cooling fans, you won't be able to hear the Lite-On anyways.
