Okay I've burned this media successfully at 4X with DRU500A(1.0d) before but lately, the burning speed varies on each burn. Last couple of discs started burning at 4X in Nero and DvdDecrypter but then drops 2X in the middle of the burn.
Just now I burned 1 disc in NERO and it stayed 4X throughout.
I'm puzzled. What could be the cause of this happening? I noticed few ppl have also experienced this at doom9.org forums.
Anybody with firmware 1.0g experienced this? I'm wondering whether I should upgrade.
