hoxlund: you mention re-installing XP Pro again, is it on your system now? If yes, just convert the drive you want to, over to NTFS. No need to re-install the OS again.
Conversion to NTFS from FAT32 is a one-way operation. You can't undo it, unless you FDISK & format :C.If you have Ghost, I recommend using it to back up the entire disk
before you convert to NTFS. That way, you can FDISK & Format and reinstall the Ghost image of your drive & OS with minimal trouble should you have to revert back to FAT32.

I agree to a point. Stable, yes. The file size was nice when I was heavily into DivX creation. But I lost the ability to use older software that just could not handle the NTFS. Some older games (circa 1998 & 1999) just would not work at all. Mind you, that was with Win2K Pro & NTFS. When I switched to XP Home, I've avoided NTFS as a result.
