this sounds like a hardware problem. can only be fixed by servicing the drive - contact the manufacturer/importer/reseller.

optical drives do not need and do not have drivers.
you just install them (physically) into the computer, and then Windows automatically detects and installs the drive into the operating system, supplying whatever drivers are needed automatically (these are generic drivers that are good for
all optical drives). so you don't need to install any drivers yourself.
to use the drive to the best performance make sure DMA is enabled.
