Nero and multiple burners

(Ummm, yes, I did attempt a search on this topic first, so if this has already been discussed, I did NOT find it, so, if it's old news, please just link me to the old thread... thanks!)

Currently to burn two different cds at once, I use two computers, with one just reading the files across the network...

I've always read conflicting responses on this question, but I've never asked myself, and I admit I'm too lazy to bring two systems down and move hardware to find out myself (if it ain't currently broken, don't fix it attitude...), but, here goes:

Can Nero burn two DIFFERENT cds to two burners at that same time on one system? I've heard yes, I've heard no, I've heard sort of (you can burn multiple copies of one image to up to seven burners on one system...).

If yes, is it one session of Nero, or two?

If the answer is obvious, well, I've never had multiple burners hooked-up to one system before, so I can't speak from experience how Nero handles this...

Also, if it can, what is the max Nero can handle? I still have four burners sittin' around!

You'll need to open up multiple sessions of Nero.

Does Nero Support writing to more than one recorder? If so, how do I get this feature?

ANSWER:

Yes. With OEM and DEMO version you can only write to one recorder.
With Nero Retail, you can write to two recorders.
For additional recorder support you must purchase a new Serial Key to support additional drives. Cost are listed below.

2. Nero support unlimited recorders simultanious price 499,00 USD
( We have test 24 recorders simultanious to date, and simply have
not had the system to test more.)

You should only have one occurrance of Nero running at any time.

And if you go to the Nero web site at www.nero.com and look under the Nero Products page and under Support>How to you will find a PDF File on how to use Nero to write to more than one recorder at a time.

Along with a number of other PDF Files that will take you through step by step operations for just about any aspect of Nero.

You may want to check out CDMate, it support upto 16 burners at once.

No upgrade required.
