HP 200i as a backup device under Linux ...

Postby nlensky on Mon Jan 27, 2003 11:45 am

got it installed and it seems to work well .. we can boot and restore the entire system ...

However .. it works only with HP+R or HP+RW's ... doesn't work with Sony DVD-RW .. my ignorance .. DVD-RW is different from DVD+RW?

Thanks

Yes, they are different and incompatible (unless you have a drive specifically designed to do both).
