Layer change indicator

Postby Robotnik on Sun Jan 26, 2003 9:09 pm

On some highend Sony stand-alone DVD players, there is a feature which tells you what layer of a dual layer DVD you are currently on. This makes it easy to locate the layer change in any movie you're watching. I was wondering if there is a similar utility that might let you do this on a PC? I want to find the layer change on all my movies and some are very well hidden!

You can download a program called ifoedit. After reading the *.IFO files of your DVD, it will indicate the layer change in one of the screens.
