Hello to you guys.
Well, it seems that our former LiteOn LTD-166S drive, now called JLMS XJ-HD166S, has some problems with CDS-200 (Cactus Data Shield 200) and Sony's Key2Audio. Using both DS0F and DS14 firmwares I cannot extract the number 1 track of my CDS-200 protected Audio CDs. Exact Audio Copy can rip all the other tracks, but not the 1st one. And that track can't be played too. About playing, Windows Media Player 9 sometimes plays all the tracks, and sometimes it won't play any. EAC plays all the tracks, except the number 1. I disabled the Windows autorun for both audio and data CDs and added the -nomultisession parameter to EAC's shortcut.
Please post all your experiences with your XJ-HD166S drive and CDS-200/Key2Audio audio discs. Don't forget to say which firmware you used.
I will use your reports to inform JLMS, so they can fix the firmware.
