In House Review - AOpen DVRW2412Pro DVD+RW/+R

Postby Ian on Mon Jan 13, 2003 10:18 am

To start off the week, we've taken a look at AOpen's newest DVD+RW drive, the
DVRW2412Pro. Based on Ricoh's award winning MP5125A DVD+RW drive, the DVRW2412Pro not only writes at 12x, rewrites at 10x and reads CD's at 32x, it can also write to DVD+RW and DVD+R discs at 2.4x. The DVRW2412Pro also has support for technologies like loss less linking, defect management and background formatting.

In this review we'll take a look at some of the features found on the DVRW2412Pro and see how it compares to some of the other DVD+RW drives we've looked at. How does AOpen's new DVD Writer stack up? You'll have to read the review to find out.
