50pk Memorex CD-R's

The other day I was at SAM's just browsing and they had a 50 pk of colored Memorex CD-R's with 50 slim-line colored jewel cases for $18.48, I believe.

I looked on the package and it looks like the CD-R's are made in Japan which makes me think they are from the T Yuden company.

It sounds like a good deal.

Any thoughts?

You could do better than this deal. Memorex 50-packs can be had for $4.99 after rebates during a sale at Best Buy, CompUSA, Circuit City, or another retail store. Made in Japan, means its Taiyo Yuden for sure.
If you want a good TY deal, just wait until Best Buy has a really good price on the Fuji CD's. Make sure to check back here every Sunday, that's when the new ads are posted for the following week.

Since this includes the jewel cases, I would say the deal is not bad, considering you don't have to send in the rebate form and wait several weeks for the rebate check.

A good deal on slim jewel cases would be 100-pack for $10 after a rebate. This deal can usually be found at CompUSA.
