Who makes this DVD Burner? (LiteOn?)

Sony makes it themselves. Although they rebadge LiteOn units for CD-RW drives, they are still in the higher-value DVD burner business as an actual designer and manufacturer.

Just wondering... How long would it take to burn a full 4.7GB movie recording at 2x?

Lite-ON doesn't even sell DVD+-RW drives yet.

A 4.37 GB movie at 2x will take you about 30 minutes.

And keep the DVD questions in the DVD section of the forum please.
