Maxell 100 pack CD-R - $7.94 after $20 MIR

(probably made by Ritek. The picture shows 40x, 74-minute, 650-MByte discs, but the description doesn't specifically mention the details)


Pacific Digital 48x internal IDE CD-RW drive - $39.99 after $30 MIR.

Pacific Digital used to pack LiteOn drives in their boxes pretty reliably, but I don't know what they do these days. As always, if you want a LiteOn look for the "SMART-BURN" trademark on the box and a stick-on serial number that resembles this:
