With new DS14 firmware, results as follow:

Data CDR (79.37 min): Avg. 37.72x, min. 21.59x, max 50.07x
CDRW Disc (data 73.33 min): Avg. 18.40x, min. 11.12x, max 24.41x
DVD-ROM (Pearl Harbor, 4.18GB): Avg. 11.73x

I can't seem to afford the time for more testings @ the moment, so more later.
