InCD won't work

Hi everyone

I have ARTEC WRR-4848 installed on my computer.
NERO software came with it.

I installed InCD updated to v.3.51.91

I can't format any CDRW.
Formatting starts and about 58% it stops and an error massage pops up:

"Error Code:
0051-0003-000c-0000"

Ah yes, the old "0051-0003-000c-0000" error that we know so well.

Seriously, cryptic error codes like this are generally useless for pointing to any underlying problem.

Have you tried a different brand of high quality CD-RW media? The problem could be caused by low quality or mismatched media. Some burners are picky about which media will meet their requirements.

MEMOREX CD-RW 700MB
4X MULTI SPEED

I had the same results with MAXELL and SONY

I actually just posted a topic a few days ago on problems with InCD (Explorer crashes during writing, among other things). The latest version of Roxio's DirectCD (provided with Easy CD Creator) works much better, provided you patch it to 5.3.2 (there's a major bug under Windows XP SP1 in 5.2 and earlier). Really though, none of the packet-writing programs is all that great reliability-wise; I'm really looking forward to the day when Windows has built-in support for packet writing via Mt. Rainer.

Very fest no problem at all.

The formatting takes about ten minutes
I've formated two CD's in no time.
