I have been trying to install Sony DRU500A firmware 1.0 F since it was released with no luck and just now got it installed. It was the VIA Busmaster Utility keeping it from installing , i uninstalled it and Easy CD Creator and it installed no problem. Now i got to test it , it would not write to (3 discs) Memorex dvd-r but would write fine to Memorex dvd+r......we'll see......spsp2
