Recently my Samsung CD-ROM SC-152C CS05 is behaving erratically.It reads pressed CD's at blazing speed of about 40x to 48x.But whenever I try inserting a CD-R of any make & quality I face read problems.The same CD-R is read perfectly on the LG CD-Writer,while the CD-ROM gives some errors.The CD-ROM flawlessly reads pressed CD's.
Also can the firmware for this CD-ROM be upgraded?If it can be please post the site information for the flash & the file.
