Hi all !

Just got some new discs:-

=> Brand:- " That's CDR "
=> 48x
=> Gold / Yellow writable surface
=> Made in Japan
=> 700 mb
=> " Premium Disc - Ultra High Speed Compatible "
=> Made by Taiyo Yuden

WOW !!!! ............ what a difference good discs make !!!

Results using my 52x Sony [ liteon 52x firmware] burner using a test burn file of a (1) single 650 meg file

=> 52x burn on a TDK 48x disc -> 2min 59sec
=> 52x burn on a T/Y 48x -> 2min 38 sec

Thats a full 21 seconds or a whopping %12 quicker !!!!

And heres the equal-best part -> the T/Y disc's actually cost me **LESS** than the TDK discs.

This further backs up what we have grown to know at CDRLabs. Taiyo Yuden is tops in CD Media. Also quality media makes a difference.

They are ordinary Taiyo Yuden CD's with a gold top only.

Yeah, but are there any errors? Better check with Nero ScanDisc.
