How about DAEMON Tools?

http://alcohol-soft.zone60.com/dtools/daemon_tools.htm

(I've not tried it personally)

Did you get the latest version? The first link I posted was to version 3.23. I then found the official site, where you can get 3.26, and edited my post accordingly. I don't know when you read the post and which link you used, but just want you to know that 3.26 is the latest.

I thought http://www.daemon-tools.com is the official site? That's where I go. :)

Well, I won't dispute that URL - it sure looks more official. I got mine from the BlindWrite site - I figured they would know the official site.

Anyway, when I click that link I only see some unintelligble Chinese describing web hosting capabilities (okay, maybe it isn't completely unintelligible :) ). Do you read Chinese, or is the site suffering some sort of problem? I assume it is the later and that I stand corrected.

Thanks Wizard, assuming it eventually does morph back to English.

Geez, I can't figure it out either. I've always known daemon-tools.com to be the official site, but now it points to the zone60.com site you gave earlier, cfitz. And on that site is absolutely nothing about Daemon Tools. Better try and download it elsewhere, do a search on Google on or something.

Aha! It looks like you and I were posting slightly different links to the same site after all, and they are both broken right now. (Perhaps I should say the one site is broken) I assume this is a temporary outage (the link I gave was working early this morning) and will be fixed soon.

Here is the first link I posted (with version 3.23) and then removed in favor of the official site with version 3.26 that isn't working right now, in case anyone is in a hurry to get some version of it:

<edit>Whoops! That link also ends up, in the end, pointing to the broken zone60 site also. Oh well, just be patient, or find another source with Google as TheWizard suggested. I'm glad mike_s104 got his copy downloaded before things went on the fritz.

The main site still isn't working. Here are some alternatives:

http://ftp.fh-niederrhein.de/~ftp/pcw9bu.htm

http://www.download.de/downloads/d_beitrag_8792840.html

The first link is easier to use - just find DAEMON Tools 3.26. The second is a bit of a pain. You have to wade through the 'Low-Speed Download' and 'Weiter zum Download von DAEMON Tools' hyperlinks to get to the page with the 'CHIP-Online-Download-Server' links, then click on one of those.

Fantom

Fantom CD is the best. www.fantomcd.net. It can create images, burn images, emulate DVD-ROM and CD-ROM drives. Well worth the fee.
