Which are better quality and will work the best with my Yamaha CRW-F1 (44x24x44)..
And why...

about to buy a pack of 500 for christmas. but you all know im not that good with cd-r and all that other stuff..

Verbatim DataLifePlus (16X), but they will burn at 24x also. Yamaha also sells these in their own packages as DiscT@2 cds. These disks have the Azo Blue (dark blue dye) Technology. You can actually see your DiscT@2 drawings. Super Azo (light blue dye) will also work but Metal Azo looks better.

My brother has these discs and the drive. He burns music info at the edge of the disk, very impressive.
