raw mode with nero

hello to all,

does anyone know if nero can read/write in raw mode and if so how to do this.

and in general, can nero copy protected discs like clonecd and cd mate?

It can do DAO/96 on supported drives. You can burn a raw image by selecting File->Burn Image, selecting a raw image, and then checking the "raw" checkbox on the Foreign Image dialog box. I've never personally tried this, so there may be subtleties involved that I haven't mentioned.

In general, I would stick with CloneCD, BlindWrite, Alcohol, etc. if your goal is to duplicate copy-protected CDs. Nero isn't designed for that task.
