How can I tell who makes DVD+R Disks?

Is there a way to tell?

The only vendor information that I know of is read out by DVD Decryptor on the right side panel when you select ISO read/write. Not sure what that information says but on some disks it reads out the name of the company. Not sure how accurate that is but it usually says TDK or Memorex, etc. If you use commercial name brand media the name is usually called out on this panel.
