Burning problems

hi....

i'm using an Asus 4816A CD Writer (recently purchased) with Nero Burning ROM (latest version).

whenever i try burning a CD-R , when selected to Disc-At-Once or Track-At-Once , the simulation is ok but when it starts to burn the CD-R it fails . i have tried several different source materials as well as different blank CD-R brands but to no avail.

but if selected to Disc-At-Once/96 mode, then the burning is successful & no problems at all with the burned CD-R.

i have e-mailed Nero & also Asus support sites but no help from them . so i'm turning to you guys for assistance!

what is the difference between DAO & DAO/96 ??

could it be a CD writer problem or possibly a Nero software bug?

If you see the settings for DAO and DAO/96 and "right click" on it, you'll see a popup explaining the differences.

I just set it at DAO/96 and leave it.
