Pioneer DVR-103 not writting Giving errors in Nero

Postby cosmichippo on Sun Nov 17, 2002 3:48 pm

Hello all,

I have recently added a CDRW only writer to our system and have been using it exclusively for burning until yesterday when I decided to tweak up the DVR-103 that has been in the system since it was bought last fall. The 103 worked until I installed the new drive a couple of weeks ago and it hasn't been used except for reading since.

Both drives are on the same IDE ch. (2nd) the Pioneer is the slave and the Lite-On CDRW is the slave. I am not trying to copy on the fly.

I upgraded the F/W on the Pioneer 103 to v.1.90 yesterday before starting to test and tweak it with CDSpeed and DVDspeed. It had previously been upgraded from a Compaq OEM v.1.49 to regular Pioneer v.1.68 F/W and worked fine.

When trying to write a data test disc in Nero CD speed I get (Error! INVALID FIELD IN PARAMETER LIST (052600)).

When trying to write a DAE test disc in CDSpeed I get (Error Setting Write Mode (code 051A00)).

When trying to write a disc in Nero I get to the Write screen and it says invalid field parameter , could not start disc-at-once.

ANyone have any ideas what could be up or have you had similar things happen after adding another drive or upgrading F/W?

Please help.

Thanks, Mike
