A "Sticky" Suggestion!

Postby vinnie97 on Wed Nov 06, 2002 7:37 pm

Perhaps a sticky thread should be established listing all the links of the retailers who carry 99-min cd-r's and 24X cd-rw's. It would be a useful resource for people like myself who have lost track of most of those listed in the last several months...unless this would be mistakenly viewed as an endorsement by cdr-labs of said retailers.

I don't have a problem with it as long as the person suggesting it doesn't work for that company or benefit from it in any way.

Many people have asked about 99min CD-R's and 24X CD-RW's, a simple search will uncover a lot of links. To my knowledge, only a few online retailers have 24X media including Buy.com and Amazon.com. 99min media is more commonplace than 24X CD-RW's right now, again, do a search and you'll find plenty of links with resellers in the US and Canada selling 99 minute CD-R's. Heck, now that I think about it, even a search on Google would surely find resellers that carry 99 minute CD-R's. :)

Yea, I've seen them (ie. Yesbuy) but I just thought a unified source on this forum would be a good idea.

I think this is a good idea.

Lord knows, about once a month someone makes yet another post about 99 minute discs. Lately, 24x cd-rw's has been the hot topic.

Thanks for the recap, Wizard...that was just the sort of thing I was talking about. An all-in-one inclusive list for the lazier among us. ;)

No problem :)

Shall I include a list of 99min resellers in European countries as well? :P

Why not? If this is going to be a sticky thread, then it should be as inclusive as possible. ;)
