Password protect your printer

Postby Dowdy on Mon Nov 04, 2002 2:08 am

i know this is got nothing to do with burners but i've been going around asking every computer forum and they can't provide an answer

i'm looking for a program to have a password to access your printer to print something.

my dad keeps on using the printer and he keeps on printing test pages and that waste soo much ink. i want a progam where he needs a password to use the printer

thanks

I don't know of any program. You can just unplug the printer from his computer. :) Or if you have a network put the printer on another computer and share the printer and you can have a password on that share. That's the way i know off.
