I've been having a lot of difficulty burning CDDA/AUDIO bin/cues. Here's what the cue file looks like:

I've got several of these and can't burn them. Fireburner loads the cue properly but when I click OK it gives me the error "Access Violation at address 00454666 in module 'Fireburner.exe'. Read of Address 0001545D" and I can't click OK or X out of it. IF I'm lucky I can three finger and kill the firebuner.exe process. If I'm not lucky it gives a "Stack Overflow" error message and locks up the computer.

I'm using Windows XP and have tried both my Plextor 40/12/40 and a Lite-On 48/12/48 and get the same error. I have several other sample CDs that dothe exact same thing. I'm burning "track at once" and have tried to switch to "session at once" and it does the same thing.

I even tried to convert it to ISO using Bin2ISO and burning it but that gave me a coaster. If I use CDMage I can read the first track on the CD but it stops after that which leads me to believe that the cue file is screwed up. Anyone got any ideas?

I might mention that I have no problems trying to burn any other cue/bin files so it's not an ASPI problem or a burner issue. Seems to be related to the cue file. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

GoldNKid,

Have you tried other programs? CDRWin and Nero are worth a try. Burning images is sometimes troublesome for no reason. Some programs seem to be better with other images and some with another ones. For me CDRWin has always delivered with great success. Be sure to use the REAL CDRWin from www.goldenhawk.com . Not the version 5, which blossoms from DiscJuggler's engine.

Dio,

I have tried other CD burning programs. Nero loads the cue file but ends up in an endless loop during the process where you would normally click Burn and never makes it to a point where I can actaully burn the CD. This is why I believe there is a problem with the .cue file as I have no issues burning any other bin/cue imaes with either program.

I've never been able to get CDRWIN 3.x to recognize any of my CD burners (a 48/12/48 Lite-ON, a Plextor 40/12/40, or my trusty SCSI Plextor 8/20). I'm using legitimate Adaptec ASPI drivers because I hae an Adaptec SCSI card in my computer. It recognizes the CD burner as a read drive but says "No Intstalled Drives Supported" under the recording drive option. This stays the same even if I pull the plug on all but one drive.

I've even used Bin2ISO to try and convert the .bin to an .iso but have had no success in burning anything but a coaster with that. I'm stumped and Fireburner has offered no assistance on the cause of the problem. HELP!!!

Have you tried Feurio for audio?
Feurio CD-Manager, Project menu, Create project from cue-sheet file.
