need to split mpegs, besides winon 5 what´s out there?

i got a few 1 gig and bigger files that e want to burn into cd´s (not dvd cause i don´t got a dvd recorder!! yet!! ) so i read that win on cd 5 is capable of dividing files, but ain´t there a simpler soft ( free if possible??)

TMGEnc can split movies (at least AVIs that I know of). Try
