I really need to get back on IRC and see who's still on there. I still talk to some of those guys.. its just via FB now.

The guys like Zebra used to have a dedicated irc channel too but it finally went down along with their site. Don't know if they'll ever be back as most of them kinda moved on in life. Finally was forced to join Facebook when my Parrot Lurch escaped and a pet finder site put up a page for him. I have 2 friends, lil sisters hubby unfriended me after a political disagreement

Political disagreements are a daily occurance on FB these days.

Unfortunately we had it during the family Thanksgiving dinner. I'm very liberal, he's hard core right so he started complaining about something and I told him his facts weren't entirely true and it went dowhill from there. At least it was after we had all had a good dinner on the next day.
Doubt I'll ever be going to his house again, a long ways from here on the border to California in K Falls, 5 hour drive, 8 hour train ride but they did get a nice house.
