Kingston Releases 5.0.3 Firmware For HyperX 3K SSD

Postby Ian on Mon Aug 27, 2012 6:52 pm

Kingston has released a new firmware update for their HyperX 3K SSD that fixes TRIM support. Here are the release notes:

Release Notes for SH103S3, Firmware Rev. 503 (08/22/12)
• Restored a minor TRIM performance variation from a previous Firmware release
• Fixed a power management condition where the device failed to respond to a COMWAKE,
which might have resulted in the SSD becoming unresponsive thereby requiring a reset by the
host

No update for the original HyperX, but I'm sure one is on the way.
