Paid around 250 for my LG H20l the one that can read HD DVD's back when the war ended and they were starting to blow them out cheaper then they'd ever been. I still have only burned about 5 disks with it and the included BD-RE is dead already after only a few test burns. Bought it to be future proof as I had the extra money at the time.
The prices are finally starting to approach what DVD burners did once they started to really get popular so might have to get a faster one I probably wont use much again, but thanks for the heads up, that is a great price.
Now when the blanks come down to reality I'll actually use mine more.
