Asus 24B1LT or PIONEER DVR-S18LBK

I am looking for good quality internal DVD writer with SATA interface. There are two product on my shortlist (non of them now originally produced by those companies):

- Asus 24B1ST

Newegg doesn't have the DVR-S18LBK. The link you provided is to the DVR-118L, which is PATA.

That ASUS is a rebadged Lite-On. Unless you really want the ASUS brand name, you're probably better off buying an actual Lite-On as you'll get more frequent firmware updates.
