I bet they are clearing out stock to let the 7260 take over which we have already proven is about identical to the 40.
The 7260 is back up to 28.99 with 6.98 shipping again so HHHHMMMM...
Anyways smokin deal for one of the fastest and best burners out right now.
I guess gentlejax posted the price while asking about firmware today as well but nobody directly posted about the deal so just giving some credit where due.

Yeah, I'd buy another just because but I have 2 7240's now and the new 7260 so I'm not putting another one on my card. They should be sending you samples to review but I spose they don't all want to send em out and sometimes you just want to try some mew goody that nobody knows about yet right away.
Bet they sell out quick at that price and hopefully some of the members that want one end up with it.
