combat arms error -484? TnL error??

I have an nvidia 8600gts card and a decent pc that USED to play combat arms before its updates. now for some reason combat arms shows the msg "Unable to reset the Renderer. In order to play Combat Arms, you'll need at least DirectX 9.0c , with a video card that supports TnL"

i updated my card, my ENTIRE drivers (with drive scanner), and still it has no effect...
can anyone please help?? i cant play any games right now cause of it....


BTW i got a new INSIGNIA screen, could that be the problem??

I did a quick google search and this seems to be a common problem with Combat Arms. There doesn't seem to be a definite fix for it either. If it was me, I'd try reinstalling DirectX.
