It was fun last winter when the war had just ended and a guy was complaining about how he couldn't get that movie on Blu, BUT there were 4 or 5 in the bargain bin I was digging through for HD-dvd movies.
As far as I can tell there is no significant difference between either format in video or audio quality, I do have both.
There was a huge difference in price though so I mostly bought HD-DVD's.
Get a cheap used or new hd player and get in on some of the remaining deals and actually watch them as well.
