If you just want to watch the movie this would seem to be a great deal for a player. Hard to say if black Friday will have anything better for less.
I've been using my Panasonic bd10a first gen 1.0 profile player with a few brand new movies and other then loading them slowly it's played everything I've thrown at it, and even plays my home brews fine as well.
Only bad thing is I don't see any updates for this player, mine has had around 5 so far, one just this August.
