zip files

i just downloaded songs from this site in zip files......what are zip files and are they compatable with nero 6?thanks..

From Wikipedia:

The ZIP file format is a popular lossless data compression and archival format. A ZIP file contains one or more files that have been compressed, to reduce their file size, or stored as-is.

If your'e running Vista or XP, you should be able to click on the file and view the songs. Otherwise you can use a program like Winzip or Winrar and extract them to your hard drive. From there, you can burn them with Nero.
