the right song lenths

the right song lenths

hi gang

when i download songs from a website to my desktop and then try to burn a cd i noticed the song lenths are too long.it can be 8 minates this
way per song.why would this happen?is there a way to normalize the
time lenths?thanks

The songs are too long? Is the extra time full of dead air?

Use WaveEditor or SoundTrax to chop off the extra?
