Audio Disc Compatibility

Postby jacktheripper on Tue Jan 29, 2008 1:28 am

Hey guys,

I am curious as to how to burn an audio disc so that it has the maximum compatibility with all old and new disc readers. I know there's "book standards" and the like but I'm having trouble finding info on it.

I'm not sure if there is that option with DVD's (since you author them and there isn't Method A or Method B).

Anyone know off hand the best method?

I use Nero atm, but if anyone has any recommendations for an all-purpose burning setup let me know.

Are you trying to create an audio DVD?

Don't. Stick with CDRs.

oh boy, I really mixed that message up eh?

Audio CD's

DVD's of regular movie format. I've tried DVD-A and its just messy and a waste of time.
