Anybody found RPC1 or rip-speed modified versions yet?

8x burning of Verbatim (MCC) DVD+R DL 2.4x is remarkably good. I'm quite surprised. I'll be using this for non-archival purposes.

My 110 and 111 also did very well with that and other DL medias so that doesn't surprise me, they all seem to do excellent with DL, and very good with normal stuff so tradition continues.
I don't have a 112 or 115 so can't say for myself, too many fast good drives now here...

Hi there! I have a Pioneer DVR-115D that I had already flashed to firmware revision 118. According to the account in my Mac's System Profiler under the "Hardware" subcategory called "Disc Burning", there is no listing for DVD-R DL Writability. Here is what my Profiler grab pic shows. Is there a newer revision that addresses this issue? Please advise.

More likely, its an issue with the way Mac identifies the drive's capabilities. Do other drives show a listing for DVD-R DL?
