I'll have to stop by OfficeMax today and see what stock of the DVD+R DL they have. Hopefully some MIS.

Take the add and price match to Best buy or anybody else that might have some of the better mids in stock. I need more slim jewel cases or some other way to store the hundreds of dvd's I keep archiving from PBS and others.

I stopped by OfficeMax, but they were cleared out. I got a raincheck for a few spindles. Maybe their warehouses still have MIS stock. The Best Buys I have checked around here so far have only had MII stock. I do have a Microcenter near by I can try a price match at.

I've been meaning to stop but the weather has been too craptastic for me to risk driving in to town. The way it looks, I won't be going tomorrow either.

I stopped by an OfficeMax last evening while I was out and found an old style label MIS spindle next to a new style label MII spindle. I bought the former. I went to the Best Buy in the same strip mall hoping to price match and they had one spindle of new style MII.

I was out near another OfficeMax today and stopped in. I was surprised to find a couple of new style label spindles there that were MIS. I went to the Best Buy in that strip mall and they too had a new style label spindle that was MIS.

Here's another way to tell the difference between MIS and MII spindles with the new labels. The MIS spindles use clear, plastic spacers to take up the space between the discs and the top of the spindle. The MII spindles uses white foam spacers. The white foam spacers are larger in diameter and thinner than the plastic spacers from the MIS spindles.
