irsc codes. How do I burn them onto a cdr?

I know Golden Hawk CDRWIN can do it, and I am pretty sure Padus DiscJuggler can too... Not 100%, but Nero may (I don't use it anymore)

I use CDRWIN for that... and yes, you can check the disc and click a check box to have it show you the ISRC codes... You'll want to make sure CDRWIN supports your burner... While I still use this program, I rarely recommend it because updates to support new drives come few and far between... On average, they update the software about once a year. That said, it is by far my favorite CD audio disc burning app.

If you go with CDRWIN, I might also suggest David Ching's CDRCue 2004 to compliment CDRWIN.

Can you explain what you are trying to do? Dupe a CD? Just songs from several CD's?

Trying to burn Cd's with the isrc code on them. I have the codes. Just need to have the codes on as the songs will be played on the radio and I'd like to get paid from PPL. I also have Nero Ultra which seems to have an option to put the codes on but I've never done this before.

Where are your source files? Are you extracting them from the CD's, are they already extracted to WAV/FLAC/MP3/OGG??? I know you're trying to burn them, but what are the sources?

Here is an example on adding a ISRC to a WAV file in CDRCue 2004. Save the cue sheet and burn it with CDRWIN... I think Nero burns cue sheets too, but not sure... it might ignore that field in the file.

managed to get ISRC on. Saved file but now it wont open in CDRWIN. I feel I'm getting close. Some more help would be great.

The CUE sheet is a text file... Reply and post your contents here... For example, here is a quick cue sheet I put together with CDRCue 2004 and a couple of wav files... It loads into CDRWIN just fine:

TITLE "Shadow Man"

INDEX 01 00:00:00

*Posting does not account for formating... There are two spaces before each TRACK, and four spaces before each TITLE/ISRC/INDEX.

I did all that on CDRcue then loaded and burnt onto CDRWIN. However, when I checked disc in the "table of contents" it said there was no ISRC.

I'm off gigging until Fri now but I'll get back to this when I get back. Thanks for the advice so far.

What did you check the TOC with? I burned a disc this AM and the ISRC's were present when I checked with CDRWIN... If you are using CDRWIN, there is a check box to enable reading that.

Here's the thing. I've just received a CD with (apparently) the IRSC codes burned on. CDRWIN still still says none are available. Whats going wrong? I reckon they are certainly on this CD as I paid to get them done.

Could it be that I've been burning IRSC codes all along but CDRWIN isn't reading properly? I bought the software properly. However, they sent me codes to unlock to but there is no unlock feature apparent on the screen just 10 boxes for different tasks.

In the lower left corner of CDRWIN is the Table of Contents button... click that and then follow my screen shot.

I have found the problem. My cd-rom must be very basic as it doesnt read the IRSC codes. My wifes laptop (when fitted with CDRWIN) reads them fine (and they ahve been printing). I must apologise for my computer (which is new by the way!). Any recomendations on a good replacement burner?!!!

Possibly the Pioneer DVR-112D/212D (IDE/SATA) drive might be best for your needs. It is a decent all around performer and most importantly... it is supported by CDRWIN.
