New Firmware Adds DTS-HD MA Support To Samsung BD-P1400

Good news for audiophiles.. Samsung has added support for DTS-HD Master Audio to the BD-P1400. The player doesn't decode the audio, but outputs it via HDMI so you're still going to need a compatible receiver.

And from what I understand, there are almost none (if any) receivers that support DTS-HD MA, so it is more of a marketing feature than anything actually useful. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, very few do and they're very expensive. Check out the Onkyo TX-SR875 and TX-SR905.
