No problems here... I don't use either. I don't install InCD and disable the Scout. Packet writing is generally a bad idea.

InCD (and any packet writing application in general) is not a reliable method for archiving data. I'm actually surprised it has survived this long. If you are using it for drag and drop backup of files to a CD/DVD RW disc, you'll eventually get burned and I hope IsoBuster can recover you data...

I never bothered to use Scout. For Nero, I just used the burning app, sometimes used Vision... Of course the InfoTool and CD-DVD Speed as well... but beyond that most of Nero to me is bloat. Most of those additions are already done by someone else and better.

No, I'm simply saying I don't use them... and I will flat out tell you to do a custom install and NEVER install InCD.

Nero support via e-mail is not the quickest in the world. Do some googling on your problem. I have to believe you are not alone and some other forum may provide you the tip you are looking for.

There is no reason to use InCD and CD-RW media these days for drag 'n' drop reading and writing when one can do the same thing on a $10 2GB SD card and a USB reader.

I put my CD-RW media in a bucket with my 8 track tape cartridges.
